Peranan Harga Diri dan Penalaran Moral pada Sikap terhadap Perilaku Seksual Remaja

Abstract

Cases of premarital sexual behavior among adolescents have increased in addition to being caused by adolescents being in the puberty phase and sexual drive in adolescents to highlight sexual attractiveness and fulfill sexual urges also because adolescents want to satisfy their sexual desires. Attitude towards sexual behavior in adolescents is a positive-negative or agree-disagree reaction to the sexual behavior. This attitude is important because it can predict behavior. This study aims to look at the role of self-esteem and moral reasoning on attitudes towards adolescent sexual behavior at SMA Negeri 1 Munte. The subjects in this research were 175 class XI students using saturated sampling which is often called a census. The instrument in this study used a self-esteem scale, a moral reasoning scale and an attitude scale towards sexual behavior. Analysis of research data using multiple regression techniques. The results of this study indicate that self-esteem and moral reasoning together have role in attitudes towards adolescent sexual behavior where the total contribution is 38.9%, which means that the research hypothesis is accepted.
