dc.description.abstract | Sultan Iskandar Muda School, Bodhicitta School, and Carneige School are schools
that both have programs aimed at helping, assisting, and sharing with others. However,
the increasingly widespread individualist attitude among school students is unique
challenge for schools, regardless of the personality of the students at the school, so
that they can be more caring, helpful, considerate of others and willing to make
sacrifices in society. This research examines the influence of, (1) big five personality
on the altruistic attitudes of junior high school students, (2) school climate on the
altruistic attitudes of junior high school students, (3) big five personality and school
climate on the altruistic attitudes of junior high school students. The sample in this
study was 728 junior high school students. Purposive sampling was used as a sampling
method, and a Likert Scale was used to collect data. CFA is used to test construct
validity. Multiple regression analysis was used to analyze data with the JASP Program.
The results of the research show that (1) big five personality has a positive influence
on the altruism of junior high school students and (2) school climate has a positive
influence on the altruism of junior high school students. (3) big five personality and
school climate have a positive influence on altruistic attitudes of junior high school
students. Research findings show that although both have a positive influence, school
climate has a greater influence in increasing the altruistic attitudes of junior high
school students. | en_US |
