Adhesion is the appearance of adhesion in the form of tissue and organ fibrosis, organs of groups of tissue bands that are vascularized and have a unified innervation. Inflammatory adhesion precedes the formation of fistulas. The most common fistula is cholecystoduodenal, followed by cholecystocolic and choledochoduodenal research purposes. This study was conducted to see the incidence of gall bladder adhesion by thickening of the gallbladder wall on USG method. This research is observational analytic with cross-sectional study design conducted at the University Hospital of North Sumatra. This research was conducted by looking at secondary data, namely the medical records of patients with gallstones in the January-December 2019 period. Samples used were total sampling. Data were the analyzed using statistical applications software results. From the results of the analysis and the results of ultrasonography of a total 45 patients suffering from gallbladder stones, in patients who experienced thickening of the gallbladder wall found 2 patients (4,4%) experienced adhesion events and patients who did not experience gallbladder wall thickening were found 4 patients (8,9%). Analysis of the relationship between gallbladder adhesion with gallbladder wall thickening on ultrasonography was found to be p - 0,80 (p> 0.05). It can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between the adhesion events of gallbladder patients with thickening of the gallbladder wall on untrasound.
