Optimization of the Alfamidi Class Corporate Social Responsibility Program at Smkn 14 Samarinda in Improving Human Resource Quality in the City of Samarinda
Abstract
The current world of work demands that vocational school graduates have competencies that are in line with the needs of industry. One of the efforts to improve the competence of vocational school graduates is through the implementation of the Alfamidi Class CSR program at SMKN 14 Samarinda by Alfamidi. This program is a form of collaboration between SMKN 14 Samarinda and Alfamidi to provide training and certification to students in the retail field. This research is titled "Optimization of the Alfamidi Class Corporate Social Responsibility Program at SMKN 14 Samarinda in Improving Human Resource Quality in the City of Samarinda" and aims to analyze the optimization of the Alfamidi Class CSR program in improving the work competencies of SMKN 14 Samarinda graduates. This research was conducted using a qualitative method using several theories concerning public relations and Corporate social Responsibility as a reference or basis, the researcher used data collection techniques of interviews, observations, and documentation. The research data was analyzed using the data flow chart analysis technique by Miles and Hubermann, namely data reduction, data display, and data verification or conclusion drawing. The research results show that the Alfamidi Class CSR program has had a positive impact on improving the work competencies of SMKN 14 Samarinda graduates, which is proven by the absorption carried out by Alfamidi every year. Schools also get various benefits through the Alfamidi Class CSR activities such as the provision of teaching factory and apprenticeship locations for students
