Partisipasi Politik pada Pemilukada Tahun 2020 di Kabupaten Karo (Studi Kasus: Masyarakat Etnis Jawa di Kabupaten Karo)

Abstract

This thesis is motivated by community participation in the regional election in Karo Regency, especially in the Javanese ethnic community in the "Pujakusuma" organization Karo Regency is an area where the majority of the population is karo tribal, has a large enough population with a large enough regional income plus some other natural potential so that many people want to become regional heads in Karo Regency and compete in the 2020 regional election. So many people want to become heads of regions in Karo Regency and compete in the 2020 elections to become regents in the demonstration activities held in this election, the need for community participation and public awareness in choosing a candidate they want to vote for not only from the ethnic majority but also ethnic migrants are also very necessary in the participation of this election because of the fact that participation from other ethnicities is needed, especially other ethnicities. other ethnicities is needed, especially the Javanese ethnicity. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, which is research that aims to find out facts and events systematically and accurately and analyze the truth based on data obtained in the field. Data collection techniques in this research are interview techniques and literature study research.
