Analysis of Factors Affecting Arabic Coffee Production in Siharjulu Village Lintongnihuta District Humbang Hasundutan District North Sumatra
Abstract
This study intends to ascertain the variables that affect coffee production in
the Lintongnihuta District, Siharjulu Village, Humbang Hasundutan Regency.
Additionally, it will analyze the effects of labor, capital, land area, and fertilizer on
coffee production. The advantages of this research include a deeper understanding of
the variables affecting coffee production, information for future studies, and
assistance for village governments and other relevant parties in formulating policies
that might support growers in raising their output. Using techniques from multiple
regression analysis, the research methodology is quantitative. The study's findings
indicate that the following factors affect coffee production: land area, labor, capital,
and fertilizer, with corresponding coefficient values of -0.173, 0.052, 0.275, and
0.134 and significance values of 0.003, 0.184, 0.000, and 0.011. In conclusion,
Siharjulu Village's coffee output is influenced by a combination of land area, labor,
capital, and fertilizer.
