dc.description.abstractThis research is to design a 3D Ray-Tracing Propagation Model with Shooting and Bouncing Ray (SBR) in 5G network at Universitas Sumatera Utara. The model uses MATLAB as software to investigate 3D Ray-Tracing Propagation Model that bounce on medium that is concrete, that there are much of the buildings at Universitas Sumatera Utara that use concrete as a basic material. 3D building model data at Universitas Sumatera Utara is based on OpenStreetMap data. The simulation of radiowave propagation is determined in three mechanisms that are line of sight, reflection, and diffraction at three conditions of receiver antenna. On the first receiver antenna, the receiving ray’s probability is a hundred twenty three rays, consisting of sixteen rays in very good indicator, fifteen rays in good indicator, seventy eight rays in bad indicator, and fourteen rays in very bad indicator. Beside that, the value of SINR is 39,58 dB, which means SINR is in very good indicator. On the second receiver antenna, the receiving ray’s probability is two hundred seventy nine rays, consisting of nineteen rays in very good indicator, twenty rays in good indicator, a hundred twenty four rays in bad indicator, and a hundred sixteen rays in very bad indicator. Beside that, the value of SINR is 45,53 dB, which means SINR is in very good indicator. On the third receiver antenna, the receiving ray’s probability is fifteen rays, consisting of two rays in very good indicator, four rays in good indicator, eigth rays in bad indicator, and one ray in very bad indicator. Beside that, the value of SINR is 30,62 dB, which means SINR is in very good indicator.en_US
