V. Micro Enterprises faces challenges in the assembly process that affect assembly efficiency and production costs. This research aims to improve assembly efficiency and propose redesigns for the meat grinder machine by applying Design for Assembly (DfA) and Value Engineering (VE) integration, identifying and substituting components while considering value. The proposed design results from issues with the hopper plate and powertrain components involve simplifying the assembly process and substituting components that provide the highest value to the manufacturer, leading to optimized production costs and maintaining component functionality more efficiently in terms of production costs, assembly time, and efficiency improvement. Redesigning the meat grinder machine with an integrative approach can be an effective strategy for enhancing assembly efficiency and reducing production costs in product design..en_US
