PT ABC is a Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD). PT. ABC operates several installations, one of which is the PT. XYZ. There are five stations and stages in the water treatment process from raw water to clean water: intake, raw water pump, filter, distribution, and laboratory. This treatment process requires operators, which results in physical and mental workload. Therefore, this study conducts an analysis of physical workload using the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) method and mental workload using the NASA-TLX method. These methods will determine the optimal number of operators to manage the resulting workload. Using the FTE method, overload values were found in the Filter station (1.39 and 1.41) and the Laboratory station (1.66, 1.66, 1.71, and 1.7). The NASA-TLX method yielded high interpretation scores for all stations: Intake (77.36), Raw Water Pump (76.33), Filter (78.5), Distribution (79.36), and Laboratory (81.35). Combining the FTE and NASA-TLX methods, it was determined that an additional 2 operators are needed at the Filter station and 4 operators at the Laboratory station. A simulation of the operator addition was conducted to observe the real process and the reduction in time required
