Analisis Kadar Fluorida dan Kesadahan Total pada Air Sumur dengan Metode Spektrofotometri dan Titrasi Titrimetri di Perumda Tirtanadi Sisingamangaraja

Abstract

Water is a basic necessity for human life. Both in terms of quantity and quality, if not met, can have a major impact on problems often found in water services. The quality of groundwater used by communities often does not qualify as clean water, even in some places it is not suitable for use. One of the chemical parameters in terms of water quality is fluoride and water hardness. High levels of fluoride and water hardness in water can be harmful to human life. This study aims to determine fluoride levels and total hardness in well water using spectrophotometric methods and titrimetric titration at PERUMDA Tirtanadi and compare them with quality standards set by the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010. The results of the study in each sample of 0.123 mg / L, 0.202 mg / L, 0.192 mg / L, and total hardness levels in each sample of 86 mg / L, 76 mg / L, 73 mg / L showed that fluoride levels and total hardness of PDAM well water met quality standards.
