dc.description.abstractCorn is a food crop that produces quite a lot of carbohydrates so it is widely used as a food ingredient and is widely needed by industry as well. In Deli Serdang Regency, some of the people make their living as corn farmers. To obtain maximum corn production, it is necessary to pay attention to several factors that influence corn production, such as harvest area, rainfall, temperature, humidity, wind speed and average solar radiation. To find out the main factors that influence corn production, Principal Component Analysis (Principal Component Analysis). This research was carried out by collecting secondary data from published books from BPS North Sumatra from 2005 to 2023. So from the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) 2 main factors were obtained, namely factor 1 and factor 2 with a total of 68.55% of the diversity of the main factors.en_US
