Sintesis Carbon Dots Terdoping N dan S dari Akar Alang-Alang Metode Hydrothermal Untuk Deteksi Curcumin
Synthesis of N and S Doped Carbon Dots from Reeds Roots Hydrothermal Method For Detection of Curcumin
Abstract
Research has been carried out on N, S-CDs with the basic ingredient namely reeds roots to be applied as a curcumin detector. N, S-CDs are made from reed roots (Imperata cylindrica radix) with the addition of C3H7NO2S to the material composition, namely 3:3, 3:6, 3:9, 9:3 and 6:3 using the hydrothermal method. The preparation process is carried out by mixing reeds roots and C3H7NO2S with ethanol and distilled water as solvents. Then the solution was put into a hydrothermal autoclave and kept for 4 hours in an oven 2000C. Then centrifuged for 10 minutes at a speed of 10,000 rpm then dialyzed for 72 hours. The characterization of N, S-CDs was explained through Ultraviolet-Visible Spectrophotometer, Photoluminescence (PL), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray Diffractometer (XRD) and Scanning electron microscope with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDX). The wavelength results in UV-Vis and PL testing were 268.38-314.02 nm and 492.91-495.02 nm. The FTIR test results show that the C = C group in the wavelength 1640-1680 ...is the core component of N, S-CDs, which proves that it was successfully synthesized. XRD test results show that the crystal diameter decreases with the addition of reed root composition. The test results from SEM with the addition of reed root composition made the pores in the sample wider. The EDX results show that adding the composition of reed roots has an increasing effect on the element C (carbon). To detect curcumin, a carbon dot is used for luminescence color (fluorescence) with a regression value (absorbance) of 0.6108 which emits a yellow color when dissolved.
