Cases of sexual violence against children are a very complex social problem, so advocacy support is needed in the recovery of children and participation from various parties, especially Social Workers who provide planned, integrated, continuous, and supervised proffessional assistance to prevent social dysfunction, as well as restore and improve the social functioning of individuals, groups and society. Considering that cases of sexual violence against children can have a physical and psychological impact on children, this research aims to determine the advocacy role of Social Workers for child victims of sexual violence at Sentra Bahagia and the obstacles they face. This research was conducted at the UPT Ministry of Social Affairs Sentra Bahagia Medan. The main informants consisted of four Social Workers who provided direct advocacy support to child victims of sexual violence at Sentra Bahagia. The key informants consisted of four resident children who were victims of sexual violence at Sentra Bahagia. As well as additional informants consisting of the head of Sentra Bahagia, the head of the social rehabilitation services working group, and one beneficiary who lives with child victims of sexual violence in the Sentra Bahagia dormitory.
