Perancangan UI/UX Sistem Informasi Destinasi Wisata di Sumatera Utara Berbasis Website (Gotrip)

Abstract

North Sumatra is one of the provinces that has a variety of beautiful tourist attractions, ranging from beaches, mountains, lakes, to interesting historical and cultural sites and legendary culinary. But despite having great potential, the promotion and marketing of tourist destinations in North Sumatra is still not maximized. But currently there are still obstacles in the utilization of information systems to promote tourism destinations in North Sumatra. Some of these obstacles include the lack of integration between available information about a tourism destination, lack of attention to user experience (UX), and lack of proper utilization of information technology to support tourism promotion. Therefore, the research on tourism information systems is expected to increase the promotion of tourist destinations in North Sumatra so that it can attract the attention of national and international tourists. The research method used is an interview which includes analyzing user needs, knowing existing problems, designing user interfaces and testing interfaces and also aims to solve problems and provide solutions to problems at the level of destination promotion in North Sumatra. The results of the research are expected to be a concern for developing an effective and efficient tourist destination information system because at this time there is a lack of information available about tourism destinations in North Sumatra today. So that the lack of attracting the attention of information tourists to visit tourist destinations in North Sumatra.
