Abstract

Manually recording student attendance is often inefficient and difficult due to limited space flexibility and paper storage problems. To overcome this obstacle, an Android-based mobile application was developed that utilizes digital technology to simplify the process of recording student attendance. This application has the main feature of recording attendance based on student location, which allows automatic verification of attendance when students use the application. By integrating location technology, this application increases the efficiency and ease of note-taking, and improves the learning experience through digitalization. Ease of access for students allows recording without complicated manual processes, while educational institutions can track and audit attendance more easily. Thus, this application is expected to be an effective and efficient solution in managing student attendance in the tertiary environment
