The focus of this research is the international political dynamics that occur between Armenia and Azerbaijan through the perspective of conflict theory. There are two main problems in this research, namely, explaining the timeline of political dynamics between Armenia and Azerbaijan and describing the role of international actors in the political dynamics between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The method used in this research is qualitative. Meanwhile, the data collection method used is literature study. The results of this research show that Azerbaijan and Armenia are two former countries of the Soviet Union that have been in conflict for a long time. The main cause of the conflict between the two countries is the struggle for the Nagorno-Karabakh region. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict involving both parties, namely Armenia and Azerbaijan, has been referred to as a conflict that escalated into a regional war.en_US
