Strategi Kesatuan Perempuan Partai Golkar (KPPG) Sumatera Utara Mengantarkan Kader-Kader Perempuan Partai Golkar Menuju Pemilihan Umum 2024

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the North Sumatra Golkar Party Women's Unity (KPPG) Strategy in guiding the Golkar party's female cadres towards the 2024 General Election. One of the ways political parties can support women's participation in politics is by forming party wing organizations, one of which is the other is the Golkar Party Women's Unity (KPPG) which was formed by the Golkar Party. Towards the general elections, KPPG North Sumatra based on the authority given to increase the quality and quantity of female Golkar party cadres. This is an important concern for KPPG North Sumatra in selecting and implementing effective and efficient strategies in achieving the set target seats. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data in the research were obtained through in-depth interviews with the core management and cadres of KPPG North Sumatra. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of the research show that KPPG North Sumatra has implemented various strategies to prepare female cadres to face the 2024 elections. The strategy used by KPPG North Sumatra is improving quality by paying attention to various aspects such as internal parties, namely closeness of cadres, promotion and branding which are still lacking, development of public speaking as well as the closeness of cadres to the community. This research also explains the obstacles or barriers faced by KPPG North Sumatra in its efforts to lead female Golkar party cadres to the 2024 General Election.
