Abstract

Tjong Yong Hian is one of the tourist destinations in Medan City. Tjong Yong Hian is safe, Tjong Yong Hian is a place of pilgrimage and prayer for Chinese people who have migrated to Medan. However, as time went by and as time progressed, Tjong Yong Hian was renovated by adding a flower garden in the Tjong Yong Hian area. The purpose of this research is to find out how and what is the potential of Tjong Yong Hian as a tourist destination in the city of Medan. The research method used is literature study, namely using sources from books, journals and also field studies by conducting observations and interviews. The results of this research are that Tjong Yong Hian Flower Park has great potential as a tourist destination in the city of Medan. The potential of Tjong Yong Hian Flower Park is very diverse. As a tourist destination, the city of Medan has various potentials to become a tourist destination, starting from the Tjong Yong Hian heritage items in the Tjong Yong Hian Flower Park, the beauty of the Tjong Yong Hian Flower Park, as well as the beauty of the art in the Tjong Yong Hian Flower Park. Not only the beauty of art and the beauty of the flower garden, the Tjong Yong Hian Flower Garden has the potential of the Tjong Yong Hian flower garden as a tourist destination in the city of Medan, namely adequate facilities, the beauty of Chinese culture within it, and a beautiful and well-maintained flower garden so that tourists are attracted to it. and comfortable visiting the Tjong Yong Hian Flower Park.
