dc.description.abstract | Eden 100 Park is a natural tourism destination located in North Sionggang Village,
Toba Regency, North Sumatra. This park has great potential to be developed as one
of the leading tourist attractions in the area. However, its development still faces
various challenges, such as inadequate infrastructure, suboptimal management,
and lack of promotion. This research aims to formulate a development strategy for
Eden 100 Park to become a more attractive, competitive, and sustainable tourism
destination. The research method used is a qualitative approach and data
collection. The research results were obtained directly through interviews with Mr.
Marandus Sirait as the owner and manager of Eden 100 Park in North Sionggang
Village, Toba Regency. The results show that Eden 100 Park has strengths in the
form of unique natural beauty, high biodiversity, and potential for natural tourism
development. However, there are still weaknesses such as inadequate
infrastructure, suboptimal management, and lack of promotion. Existing
opportunities include high tourist interest in natural tourism, support from the local
government, and potential for integrated tourism development. On the other hand,
there are threats such as competition with other tourist destinations, environmental
damage, and lack of readiness of the local community.Based on the research results,
a development strategy for Eden 100 Park has been formulated, which includes
strategies to improve infrastructure quality, optimize management, increase
promotion and partnerships, as well as develop integrated tourism products
involving the local community. Implementation of this strategy is expected to
increase the competitiveness of Eden 100 Park as a sustainable natural tourism
destination in Toba Regency. | en_US |
