Sijambe Waterfall is a natural tourist attraction located in Pematang Siantar City.
This tourist attraction has great potential as an interesting and refreshing tourist
spot. This research was motivated by promotional activities carried out at the
Sijambe Waterfall tourist attraction to introduce this tourist attraction using a
Promotional Mix. This research focuses on two main objectives, namely to
determine the effectiveness of promotions in increasing tourist visits to Sijambe
Waterfall, Pematang Siantar City and to determine the obstacles faced in efforts
to increase tourist visits there. The methods used in this research include Library
Research and Field Research which aims to obtain the data and information
needed from the tourist destination being studied. Based on the research results,
the management of the Sijambe Waterfall tourist attraction uses various
promotional mix elements. First, Advertising (Advertising) which involves the use
of social media and print media. Second, Sales Promotion, in the form of
providing price promotions to visitors. Third, Personal Marketing (Personal
Selling) through face-to-face sales. Fourth, Public Relations, and fifth, Direct
Marketing which involves communicating with visitors via social media such as
Instagram and WhatsApp. In its activities, the Sijambe Waterfall tourism manager
holds tourism promotions which aim to introduce and inform about this tourist
spot, so that it can create sympathy and attraction for visitors
