    Abstract
Background: Antioxidants are substances that inhibit oxidation reactions due to free radicals. Plants are one of the sources of natural antioxidants. One of the plants that have the potential as antioxidants is Mobe plant (Artocarpus lacucha Buch-Ham.). The principle of the DPPH method is the ability of antioxidant compounds to reduce free radicals or oxidising agents. Objective: To determine extracts, fractions and subfractions from mobe leaves (Artocarpus lacucha Buch-Ham.) have antioxidant activity based on IC50 50 value. Methods: Artocarpus lacucha Buhc-Ham. Leaves was extracted by maseration using etanol. Antioxidant activity for extract, fraction and subfraction was measured with DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2- picrylhydrazyl) method. Result : The IC50 value of etanol extract, n-hexan fraction, ethyl acetate fraction, water fraction and subfraction was 43.21 ± 0.08 μg/mL, 616 ± 13.61 μg/mL, 38.91 ± 0.08 μg/mL, 98.20 ± 0.37 μg/mL, 2923.72 ± 14.66 μg/mL, 2298 ± 10.98 μg/mL, 2049.23 ± 8.45 μg/mL, 2769.50 ± 10.77 μg/mL, 481.77 ± 6.60 μg/mL, 617.73 ± 10.21 μg/mL, 385.81 ±10.04 μg/mL, 334.35 ± 9.99 μg/mL, 121,80 ± 6.37 μg/mL dan 89.54 ± 1.02 μg/mL Conclusion: The etanol extract has the strongest antioxidant activity, the n-hexan fractions has lowest antioxidant activity, the ethyl acetate has the strongest antioxidant activity, water fractions has strong antioxidant activity, subfractions 1-8 have lowest antioxidant activity, subfraction 9 has moderate antioxidant activity and subfractions 10 has strong antioxidant activity.
