Aplikasi Superkapasitor Rangkaian Konversi Tegangan ke Arus pada Pemakaian Energi Matahari tanpa Baterai
Application of Supercapacitor Voltage-to-Current Conversion Circuit in Solar Energy usage without Battery
Abstract
Research has been conducted on the conversion of voltage to current in the
use of solar energy without batteries using 40WP solar panels. Solar panels have
challenges, namely in overcoming fluctuations in the power they produce.
Supercapacitors can be used to overcome the fluctuations that occur in the power
generated by solar panels. This research was conducted by testing DC-to-DC
converters, RTC (Real Time Clock), INA219 sensors and solar panels. The DC-to DC converter is used to convert the DC voltage from the solar panel into a stable
DC voltage using a PWM value which will be controlled using an ATMega328
microcontroller. The INA219 sensor is used to determine the input and output
voltage of the solar panel. In this research, the fluctuation generated in the testing of
a 40WP solar panel before adding supercapacitors amounted to 0.6659 volts and
after adding supercapacitors, the fluctuations decreased to 0.4997 volts. The
decrease obtained is about 0.1662 volt. So the use of supercapacitors can
significantly reduce the energy fluctuations of solar panels operating without
batteries.
