dc.description.abstract | Biodiesel is an alternative fuel that can be obtained through the CPO transesterification process or fatty acid esterification. Indonesia has a high demand
for fuel oil and still relies on imports, which has led to a depletion of petroleum availability. To address this issue, it is important to establish a biodiesel factory
using PFAD in Indonesia. The establishment of such a factory is expected to help
meet Indonesia's fuel oil needs.
The pre-design biodiesel plant using PFAD is intended to have a production
capacity of 170,000 tons per year, operating for 330 days a year. The planned business entity is a Limited Liability Company (PT) with a workforce of 130 people.
