dc.description.abstract | Early childhood is a unique and valuable period in a child's development, an opportunity
as well as an important phase in their lives. At this time children possess significant
potential for self-development, which can be nurtured through educational stimuli
aimed at fostering their physical and spiritual growth and maturation, so that children
can be prepared for further education. One of them is to instill good moral values in
early childhood and is expected to shape their personality. The purpose of character
cultivation is to foster children's ability to distinguish good and bad choices, as well as
recognize and accept goodness in their life. The objective of this study is to simulate
the Augmented Reality method using Voice Interaction as a medium for character
education in children to enhance the level of children's interest in stories about character
education. This Augmented Reality will display 3D objects using markers that have
been provided. After the 3D object is successfully displayed, a microphone display will
appear that requires children to input sound to continue the story scene, so that children
can feel a more interesting experience in interacting. The results of system testing found
that 93% of respondents rated 3D objects displayed well, 92% of respondents rated the
story presented easy to understand, 90% of respondents rated it as readable well, 94%
of respondents rated it easy to use, and 90% of respondents rated the application as an
educational medium. So it is concluded that this Character Building application can be
accepted and used as a medium for character education. | en_US |
