Area Control Traffic System (ATCS) is an innovative information technology-based traffic control system program in an area that aims to optimize the road network through the coordination of traffic lights spread across several road intersections. In this case, the community as a recipient of services from the program still has obstacles in its application such as congestion at several points or intersections in Medan City, and there are still some realtime streaming access errors.
This study aims to determine the effect of Area Traffic Control System (ATCS) Program Innovation on Public Satisfaction in Medan City. This research method uses quantitative methods with associative research types. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires using simple random sampling techniques and as many as 100 people as respondents in this study. Validity test using product moment analysis technique, questionnaire reliability using Cronbanch Alpha formula, and data analysis with the help of IBM SPSS Statistic 25 program.
The results of the study show that the simple linear regression equation shows Y = 21.476 + 0.504 X. The results of hypothesis testing show that there is a positive and significant influence between ATCS Program Innovation and Public Satisfaction with a significant value (0.000 <0.05) and t-count (6.977>1.660). Then the results of the coefficient of determination (R2) test are 0.665, which means that the effect produced by the ATCS Program Innovation on Community Satisfaction is 66.5%. While the remaining 33.5% is influenced by other factors from outside this study.
