Child-friendly information is one of the important aspects of the Child Friendly District Cluster. Local governments have an important role in providing quality child-friendly information that is easily accessible to children. The fulfillment of children's needs can provide guarantees for children to receive protection. The Labuhanbatu Selatan District Government in providing facilities to support the realization of Child Friendly Information still has several obstacles such as uneven socialization and the availability of facilities that are not optimal so that there are still many people who do not know about Child Friendly Information. This research aims to see how the Implementation of Labuhanbatu Selatan Regency Government Policies in the Implementation and Protection of Children for Child Friendly Information. The research method used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data were collected using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The data were analyzed qualitatively using the theory of Policy Implementation from Edward III which has four indicators, namely communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The results of the study show that the communication indicators between implementers and targets have not gone well, the human resource indicators are not optimal because many employees do not understand the ILA policy, then the budget resources are still lacking to support existing programs and child-friendly information facilities that have not been maximized. The disposition indicators of implementers and targets tend to support the ILA policy, but the community hopes that the government will conduct socialization evenly so that every community will take part in implementing the policy, the bureaucratic structure indicator has gone well because it has formed KLA task forces and regulations on the implementation of ILA, but the Labuhanbatu Selatan District government does not yet have an SOP for KLA or ILA so that it often hampers the delivery of KLA indicator.en_US
