A Description of Main Characters’ Conflict in Serial Drama Because This Is My First Life

Abstract

This paper discusses the portrayal of the main characters and the conflicts experienced by the main characters in the drama series Because This is My First Life. There are two dominant characters involved in the conflict. Conflicts are categorized into internal and external conflicts that occur to the characters personally and impersonally, conflicts are resolved by negotiation and a sense of justice to win a solution. The theory used is conflict with qualitative methods. This means describing data in the form of dialogue and scenes selected from the Because This is My First Life drama series. The results show that conflict is a contradiction between expectations and reality that arises because of self (internal) or outside forces (external).
