GPPH is one of the development disorders in children which can cause conflict against their parents. Self-regulation is the capacity to control, organize, plan, direct, and monitor behavior to achieve a certain goal. Resilience is the capacity to reawaken from difficulties wisely. The objective of the research is to analyze the correlation between self-regulation and resilience in parents who have a child with GPPH at the SLB -C Karya Tulus Tuntungan II. The research uses descriptive quantitative method with cross sectional design. The samples are 50 parents who have children with GPPH as the respondents, taken by using purposive sampling technique. The research is Connor-Davidson Scale (CD-RISC) and Self-Regulation Questionnaire (SRQ). The data are analyzed by using Spearman rank test. The results of the analysis shows that correlation coefficient is +0.450 at p-value = 0.001 (<0.05). The conclusion is that there is positive and significant correlation between self-regulation and resilience in parents who have children with GPPH at the SLB-C Karya Tulus Tuntungan II. It is recommended that a nursing intervention be developed to dig up self-regulation and resilience in patients and their families, especially parents who have children with GPPH.
