dc.description.abstractThis research is entitled "The Perception of First Voters in Medan towards The Gemoy Campaign of Prabowo-Gibran”. The research method is descriptive quantitative. The purpose of the study was to determine the perception of first voters in Medan towards the Gemoy Campaign of Prabowo-Gibran. The concept and theory of this research is Perception and Political Communications. The population in this study was the people of Medan City, amounting to 318.792 people. A sample of 100 people. This research applies purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used is through a questionnaire. The researcher conducted a series of data analysis techniques, namely single table analysis. The results show that the first voters in Medan prefer a campaign that is informal. However they prefer the President and Vice President candidate to keep the formality.en_US
