Studi Potensi Kawasan Wisata Budaya Huta Siallagan, Sigalegale, dan Makam Raja Sidabutar di Kecamatan Simanindo, Kabupaten Samosir Sebagai Kawasan Ekowisata

Abstract

Tourism is an important sector that supports the community's economy and also Indonesian government. Samosir Island is one of the tourist centers in Sumatra North because the island is surrounded by the beauty of Lake Toba. Some cultural tours which are visited by many tourists are Huta Siallagan, Segale-gale and the King's Tomb Sidabutar. The increase in existing tourism centers sometimes decreases the quality environment, one of the efforts that can be made to maintain quality environment, namely by making the area an ecotourism area, namely by paying attention to the 4A (Attraction, Accessibility, Amenity and Ancilliary). A few things which can be done in assessing the potential of a tourism to become ecotourism, namely by score on several existing parameters to find out the value of the Index Tourism Suitability (IKW) at each tourist location. From the scoring results obtained Based on existing conditions, interview results and maps of the physical condition of tourist land, then obtained IKW for Huta Siallagan and Sigale-gale by 84.67% and the King's Tomb Sidabutar at 71%
