Coordination of PT Kertas Kraft Aceh (KKA) Persero and Lhokseumawe Resort Police in Securing Company Assets
Abstract
PT. Kertas Kraft Aceh (KKA), which has not been operating since 2007, still has employees who work to care for and maintain the company's assets and provide services to the community. However, the problem is the level of security of PT. Kertas Kraft Aceh (KKA) is still lacking. Therefore, to increase the security level of PT. Kertas Kraft Aceh (KKA) is coordinated with the Police to maintain the security of the company and the community. The aim of this research is to determine the coordination and obstacles of PT. Kertas Kraft Aceh (KKA) Persero and Lhokseumawe Resort Police in Securing Company Assets.
This research uses qualitative research methods where the location to obtain the data needed in this research is at PT. Kertas Kraft Aceh (KKA) Persero, North Aceh Regency, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province. This research uses a purposive sampling technique to determine research informants. This research uses a type of triangulation of data sources and data collection. The data obtained was then analyzed qualitatively using Hasibuan's theory which suggests that the factors that influence coordination can be seen through the unity of action, communication, division of work and discipline.
The results of the research show that in the coordination process carried out between PT KKA and the Lhokseumawe Police there was a lack of awareness in work, lack of communication, there were still gaps in the field between the two agencies which was caused by a lack of division of work carried out by section heads and the necessary to improved the discipline. It was also found that there was no institution that supervised coordination between the two parties from the relevant agencies. And there is no coordinator who serves as a guide in carrying out tasks in the field. It is hoped that PT KKA will pay more attention to unity of action related to awareness for agency members, more intense communication, more detailed division of work and stricter discipline so as to create a good work environment.
