dc.description.abstractThis research is entitled "The Relationship between Digital Literacy Levels and Black Campaign Resistance of Beginner Voters in Medan City". This research aims to determine the extent of the relationship between the level of media literacy and the black campaign resistance of novice voters in the city of Medan. Digital literacy is measured using Gilster's digital literacy competencies which include Internet Searching, Hypertextual Navigation, Content Evaluation, and Knowledge Assembly. Black campaign resistance is measured by the components of Azwar's attitude formation, namely cognitive, affective and conative components. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational approach. The research was conducted through a survey of 96 university student respondents in Medan City consisting of 48 students from state universities and 48 students from private universities. The data analysis techniques used in this research are single table analysis, cross table analysis and hypothesis testing via the Spearman's Rank correlation test with the help of the SPSS 25 application. The results of the Spearman's Rank hypothesis test, obtained a Spearman's correlation coefficient (rho) of 0.661 with a significance value < of 0.05. The results of data analysis show that there is a strong relationship between the level of digital literacy and black campaign resistance.en_US
