The temporomandibular joint is part of the stomatognathic system, where disturbances in one component of the stomatognathic system will interfere with other components that cause an imbalance in function. One such disorder is temporomandibulardisorder. Temporomandibular disorders have signs, symptoms and a severity that can be relieved through jaw exercises. In this purposive sampling study, researchers used a questionnaire based on the Helkimo Anamnestic Index. 30 respondents who complained about temporomandibular disorders were asked to fill out a questionnaire via google form. Patients with TMD were concluded based on the total score of all questions with the statistical results of the paired T-test. The results showed that there were differences in the severity before and after jaw exercises in 24 (80%) patients.en_US
