dc.description.abstractThe Palm Oil Mill (PKS) industry requires boiler feed water to produce steam for palm oil processing. Steam is used for boiling and as power to generate electricity. The boiler feed water used must meet certain requirements such as total hardness, pH, alkalinity and silica. In this research, a pH test was carried out on boiler feed water. The pH test used universal indicator paper and obtained a pH value of 10.79-10.86. This pH value meets the established standards. Quantitative analysis of boiler water including TDS, chloride and alkalinity has also been carried out.en_US
