The development of technology in Indonesia in the field of construction continues to increase, and more and more innovations are found that can make the world of construction more advanced. One of the innovations developed is concrete in the field of materials, which is demanded to be able to support infrastructure development that utilises organic materials. Such as the utilisation of sugarcane ash (AAT) waste from the Kwala Madu Sugar Factory (PGKM) PT Perkebunan Nusantara II which will be used as a constituent material for Self Compacting Concrete (SCC). In this research, AAT will be used as cement substitution material in SCC mixture. The variations of AAT are (0%), (2.5%), (5%), (7.5%), (10%), (12.5%) and (15%) by weight of cement. The tests carried out are fresh concrete testing (slump flow, l-shape box, v-funnel), bond time testing and hard concrete testing (concrete compressive strength) with cylindrical specimens d = 15 cm, t = 30 cm. From the research, it was obtained that the slump flow and l- shape box values decreased as the AAT variation increased but still met the EFNARC 2005 standard as a reference in testing fresh SCC concrete. The v-funnel value increases and lengthens as the AAT variation increases. For setting time testing, it is obtained that the more AAT variations, the longer the initial setting time and final setting time. The optimum compressive strength result is 25.32 MPa percentage variation of 2.5%en_US
