dc.description.abstractUD. Kreasi Lutvi is a manufacturing company engaged in the cassava chips manufacturing industry. The demand for cassava chips is increasing until the company has a production capacity of ± 3000-4000 kg per day. Fulfillment of this demand is certainly influenced by inputs to the company, one of which is the cassava chopper machine used by the company as many as 4 units and has been operating for 8 years, causing operational costs and maintenance costs to increase, besides that there is a development of technology that is more sophisticated and promises benefits for the company. Based on the situation of production capacity levels and machine conditions, the company is faced with the challenge of increasing efficiency to meet product demand as well as to absorb local cassava harvests in Deli Serdang Regency which are relatively large reaching 135,820 tons (BPS data in 2022) in addition to taking advantage of export opportunities to various other countries. Based on this situation, an analysis of machine replacement between defender and challenger was carried out using the Equivalent Uniform Annual Cost (EUAC) method. The purpose of this cassava chopper machine replacement analysis is to select the most economical machine alternative to be submitted to the company. Replacement analysis uses by the EUAC method to get the most economical value seen from the smallest uniform annual equivalent cost. This data processing certainly requires complicated stages, so a decision support system is needed to facilitate the company if at any time needed in the selection of alternative cassava chopper machines that are more economical. Based on the results of the preparation of the decision support system model in the form of a dashboard, it can be stated that the system can be used and is able to show data visualization that is easy to understand. Based on the results of data analysis and processing, the most economical alternative machine is the Challenger 1 machine with the smallest EUAC value that is -Rp 3.402.026en_US
