Perancangan Sistem Informasi Wisata Kuliner di Sumatera Utara secara Online Berbasis Website (Travel GoTrip)

Abstract

North Sumatra is known as a tourist destination rich in culinary diversity. However, information about unique culinary spots spread across various regions is still not well organized, making it difficult for tourists to find culinary references. This research aims to design and develop an online culinary tourism information system based on a website called GoTrip. The website is designed to provide complete and accurate information about various culinary tourism spots in North Sumatra. This website offers detailed information features regarding the description of the culinary spots, available facilities, reservations, maps that can guide users to the culinary locations, menus, prices, and operational hours of each culinary spot. The methodology used in this research is the system development method with the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The result of this research is a user-friendly and informative website that can be accessed by various devices. This website is expected to become a reliable source of information for both local and international tourists in finding and enjoying the unique culinary delights of North Sumatra. Additionally, GoTrip is also expected to help promote local culinary businesses and increase tourist visits to North Sumatra.
