Perancangan Sistem Informasi Destinasi Wisata dan Penginapan di Sumatera Utara Berbasis Website (Travel GoTrip)

Abstract

North Sumatra is one of the provinces in Indonesia that offers a variety of attractive tourist destinations and accommodations. However, information about these tourist spots and accommodations is still difficult to access, making it challenging for tourists to find references. This research aims to design and develop an information system based on a website called GoTrip for tourist destinations and accommodations. This website is designed to provide comprehensive and accurate information about various tourist destinations and accommodations in North Sumatra. The features provided include descriptions of tourist spots and accommodations, facilities, reservations, location maps that guide users to these destinations, prices, and operational hours. The methodology used in this research is the system development method with the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The result of this research is a user-friendly and informative website that can be accessed through various devices. This website is expected to become a reliable source of information for both local and international tourists in finding and enjoying tourist destinations and accommodations in North Sumatra. Additionally, Travel GoTrip is also expected to help promote local businesses and increase tourist visits to North Sumatra.
