Rancangan Sistem Informasi Monitoring Pelaksanaan Proyek Konstruksi Berbasis Web Menggunakan Metode Waterfall pada PT. Gelora Suprindo Mandiri

Abstract

Monitoring is a continuous activity to track the progress of program implementation whether it is in accordance with the plan. The construction project monitoring website is an important tool for monitoring the progress of project implementation. PT Gelora Suprindo Mandiri is a company engaged in the construction of palm oil machinery. The Project Manager is responsible for the implementation of the project. Currently, PT Gelora Suprindo Mandiri still relies on a manual system in delivering project implementation information which results in various challenges especially when the company has to handle several projects simultaneously in different locations. Project managers have difficulty monitoring project progress because information is sent via Whatsapp messages which causes a buildup of documents and difficulty distinguishing projects that have been completed from those that are ongoing. Misunderstandings between field supervisors and project managers often occur which can cause projects to be completed later than the planned schedule. The purpose of this research is to design an information system website for monitoring the implementation of construction projects. The method used in developing this website is the waterfall method, which includes the stages of analysis design, anlysis design, implementation, and verification using the black box testing method. The hardware and software used include PHP, HTML, CSS, XAMPP, and Visual Studio Code. The results of this research will produce a monitoring information system that functions as a project monitoring information center
