A Description of The Main Character in The Film Damsel

Abstract

This study is to describe the main character in the movie Damsel (2024) and the struggle to survive to survive and chase a dragon who wants to kill her. This study method is descriptive-qualitative, using the dialog and actions of the characters in the film as the data. To describe the main character portrayed in the film Damsel (2024) writer uses theory of Edgar V. Roberts in the same book says that there are four ways to analyze character. And also, to describe the struggles experienced, writer uses the theory of Braun and Ishak (1979). and the results state that Elodie is a melancholic woman, trusted person, Inquisitive person, empathic person, courageous woman, a fed-up hothead, a caring person, a determined person, fearless woman, clever woman, versatile woman, and last Elodie is an innocent human. Elodie's struggle to survive this terrifying place was not easy. many terrible things happened and went through him, many wounds and tears. These struggles include, struggle with self, struggles with environment, and struggle with other. Elodie tried her best to face this very large dragon. With hard work and strong determination. Elodie succeeded in destroying the Aurea kingdom by collaborating with the dragon who previously wanted to kill her.
