dc.description.abstract | Preliminary Design of Dimethyl Ether Plant From Methanol by Indirect Process with Production Capacity of 175.000 Tons/Year, operating for 330 days a year. The main process in this pre-design of the plant consists of three stages: raw
material preparation, product formation, and purification.
The Dimethyl Ether Plant is planned to be established in the Guntung
district of Bontang Utara Regency, East Kalimantan Province, with a land area of 29,315 m2. It will require 129 employees and will be structured as a Limited Liability Company (PT).
The results of the economic analysis of this Dimethyl Ether Plant plant are as follows:
1. Total Investment Capital = Rp. 1.596.221.551.654
2. Total Production Cost = Rp. 2.447.719.303.493
3. Sales Revenue = Rp. 2.988.534.956.914
4. Net Profit = Rp. 334.259.665.988
5. Break Even Point (BEP) = 25,8201 %
6. Return on Investment (ROI) = 20,9407 %
7. Pay Back Period (PBP) = 4 years 7 month
8. Internal Rate of Return (IRR) = 22,1555 %
From the economic analysis results, it can be concluded that the Dimethyl Ether Plant with a capacity of 175,000 tons per year is feasible to be established | en_US |
