Drug abuse, especially on narcotics and dangerous drugs (drugs) is currently
a concern given the high rate of drug abuse in Indonesia. The purpose of this study
was to analyze methamphetamine in necrophagous maggots grown on beef and pork
samples using solid phase extraction method and using SEM-EDX, FTIR, and GCMS
instrumentation. The extractions used in the extraction of methamphetamine from
maggots grown on beef and pork samples include sonication extraction and solid
phase extraction using blood clam shell adsorbent. Analyzed by GCMS,
methamphetamine in maggots ranged from 29,80μg/mL to 47,55μg/mL in beef and
from 28,75μg/mL to 38,85μg/mL in pork. The presence of methamphetamine is
confirmed by FTIR data, namely beef and pork samples there are N-H groups, C-H
alkane groups, aromatic C = C groups, aromatic C-H groups, with the FTIR data
indicating that it is positive for methamphetamine. The Validation results showed
101.41% recovery, 0,39 SD, 1,07% RSD, 0.9991 correlation value (r2), 3,4096 x 10-
5 LoD and 1,1365 x 10-4 LoQ. This evidence demonstrates the efficacy of the
methodology employed.
