    Abstract
The purpose of this writing is to study and explain the simulation of Flow Measurement equipment based on the working principles and workings of oil instruments, namely flow measuring instruments and control valves at Solo Technopark. Accurate measurement of liquid and gas flow rates is an important requirement for maintaining the quality of industrial processes. In fact, most industrial control loops control the flow rate of incoming fluids to achieve control objectives. Therefore, accurate flow rate measurement is very important. In physics and engineering, especially fluid dynamics and hydrometry, volumetric flow rate is the volume of fluid passing per unit time; usually denoted by the symbol Q (sometimes V̇ ). The SI unit is m3/s (cubic meters per second). The working principle of the Orifice Plate is based on the Bernoulli equation which says that there is a relationship between fluid pressure and fluid velocity. If speed increases then pressure will decrease and vice versa. The orifice is a thin, circular plate with various diameters. Fluid flows through the pipe when it reaches the orifice, this is what causes changes in velocity and pressure. Where the point at which maximum velocity and pressure occurs is called the Vena Contracta, by knowing the point in the Vena Contracta, the volume flow rate and mass flow rate can be obtained using the equation Bernoulli.
