| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this paper is to describe the plot and conflict in the movie The Others. The researcher focuses on the most dominant plot and conflict in the movie. The data of this research was collected by searching for relevant articles, selecting important material descriptions related to moral values from the given sources, selecting the movie to be studied, the researcher chose the movie "The others", watching and replaying the movie, downloading the script from the internet, reading the script to better understand the plot and conflict in the movie "The others", and underlining the text that shows the plot and conflict. Using a descriptive qualitative method, this research explores the external and internal conflict and plot, especially of the mother's character, towards the strange happenings in her house. The aim is to increase understanding of plot and conflict in movies and contribute to literary studies by providing insight into movie themes. | en_US |
