dc.description.abstract | This final project is related to the design of a shallot dryer using a DHT 22 sensor based on the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller. Drying shallots is an important process in post-harvest processing to increase product durability and quality. Traditional drying methods are often inefficient and difficult to control, so technological innovation is needed to overcome this problem. This research aims to design and build a shallot dryer that uses a DHT 22 sensor and a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller. The DHT 22 sensor is used to measure temperature and humidity in real-time, while the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller regulates the drying process based on data received from the sensor. The research results show that the designed dryer is able to maintain optimal conditions for drying shallots, with temperature and humidity control that is more accurate and efficient than traditional methods. This tool also allows remote monitoring and control via an internet connection, making it easier for users to operate the tool. In conclusion, this innovation can increase the efficiency and quality of shallot drying, as well as provide a practical solution in post-harvest processing. | en_US |
