Aklimatisasi Planlet Kentang (Solanum Tuberosum L.) Varietas Granola pada Beberapa Media Tanam dan NPK
Acclimatization of Potato Plantlets (Solanum Tuberosum L.) GRANOLA Varieties in Several Planting Media and NPK
Abstract
Research on the Acclimatization of Potato Plantlets Granola Varieties in
Several Planting Media and NPK was carried out from December 2023 to May 2024
in the Greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture and the Laboratory of Plant
Physiology and Tissue Culture, FMIPA USU. The aim of this research is to obtain
the best combination of planting media with NPK fertilizer to increase potato growth
at the acclimatization stage. Granola variety potato plantlets were obtained from
UPT. Horticultural Mother Seeds Gedung Johor, Medan City. This research used a
two-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The first factor is the planting
medium which consists of humus soil mixed with sand (1:1), humus soil mixed with
cocopeat (1:1), humus soil mixed with burnt husks (1:1) and humus soil mixed with
kadaka root (1:1). The second factor is NPK fertilizer with 4 experimental levels
consisting of 0.2 mL, 4 mL and 6 mL. This NPK treatment is carried out every 10
days. The results showed that variations in planting media and NPK treatment had
significant differences in increasing plant length, number of leaves, number of
branches, wet weight and dry weight. Cocopeat planting media with NPK fertilizer at
a dose of 2 mL showed the highest value for all parameters, namely plant length 7.06
cm, number of leaves 5.33, number of branches 3.33, wet weight 23.16 mg and dry
weight 0.10 mg. Control planting media and without NPK fertilizer showed the
lowest values for all parameters.
