The working orea ofthe Voting Commitee (PPS) Nagart Air Bongls monbors
is not different from the working area of the District Election Commitice (PPK)
Sungai Beremas District with an area of 440,48 Km2 which has many island difficult
to access. Sungai Beremas District only has one village called Nagari, Nagari Air
Bangis. This condition causes a large burden on simultaneous elections because the
workload of PPS Nagari Air Bangis members becomes disproportionate. The Young
Committe (PPS) Nagari Air Bangis has 81 polling places and 19.252 permanent
voter Iist, Susanto's research (2019) in the case of the 2014 legislative election found that the disproportionate workload of KPPS violated the Integrity of the election
which led to Re-Voting (PSU) and even criminal acts.
To answer the above problems, the workload theory of Koesomowidjojo,
(2021) and Hart & Staveland (1988) is used The integrity of the Implementation of
voting is based on the 11 election principles of Article 3 of Law 7/2017 concerning
elections. This research method is exploratory qualitative which presents data and
facts found comprehensively trough in-depth interview and observations. The data
analysis technique uses four flows: data collection, condensation, presentation and
drawing conclusions.
The research results show that there is a disproportionate workload of PPS
Nagari Air Bangis members which is influenced by internal and external workload
factors. External factors are excesive workload, large work area, and non-ideal
work organization. Internal factors are the organizer’s physical condition ond mental
work due to exeternal loads. Even though there was a disproportionate work for
PPS Nagari Air Bangis members, there were no violations of election integrity
resulting in re-voting or criminal acts.
