Faktor-Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Produktivitas Kerja pada Operator Crane di Terminal Petikemas Belawan PT Pelindo Tahun 2024

Abstract

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) can be a major factor in achieving Sustainable Development goals number 3 and 8. Indonesia, as an archipelagic country with a large number of ports busy with export and import activities, is trying hard to improve and expand port infrastructure, for example Container Terminals Belawan. Productivity at each port often fluctuates, and increasing employee productivity can significantly help companies expand their operations. This type of research is analytical with quantitative methods and uses a cross-sectional research design. Analysis was carried out using univariate and bivariate tests using Spearman's Rank. This research was conducted to determine what factors are related to the productivity in crane operators (Container Crane (CC) Operators and Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) Operators) at PT. Pelindo TPK Belawan in 2024. The sample in this study was the entire population, 61 operators. Data was obtained from answers to questionnaires asked to operators. Based on the research results, there is no relationship between the variables of education level and work motivation and the results of the sig value. 0.267 > 0.05 on education and sig value. 0.229 > 0.05 on work motivation. Meanwhile, the work attitude and work ethic variables have a significant relationship with the sig value. 0.001 < 0.05 on work attitude and 0.004 < 0.05 on work ethic, as well as a correlation value of 0.528 which means a strong relationship and a sig value on work ethic. 0.365 which means the relationship is quite strong. There needs to be awareness among individuals and companies to increase productivity, especially regarding work attitudes, such as responding quickly to work and work ethic, such as enthusiasm in doing their work.
