Penerapan Bussiness Intelligence dalam Perancangan Dashboard pada Gudang Produk Jadi di CV. XYZ

Abstract

Inventory management is a crucial element in business operations that plays a role in ensuring product availability. In the paving stone processing industry, inventory management is very necessary to ensure product availability to suit customer demand. CV. XYZ is a company engaged in making paving stones. The process of recording product data updates is quite slow because the company will only record it after the product has been purchased, this causes when demand suddenly increases it cannot be responded to quickly because management does not have the latest information about the availability of finished products, resulting in demand not being met. When demand comes and does not match the number of products available, the company will buy from a third party to meet demand. This causes the company not to get maximum profits from what is obtained from making paving stones. This research aims to design a management system based on the Business Intelligence Dashboard as an inventory management system for companies. The Dashboard system was created using Microsoft Visual Basic for Application and the Dashboard visualization was carried out in the Microsoft Excel application. The result of this research is a dashboard that can provide information regarding incoming and outgoing products, total product inventory, total cost and price values, inventory graphs and information about items that are approaching the inventory limit and must be remade. This dashboard is expected to be a solution to inventory management in companies
