Identifikasi Potensi Bahaya dengan Menggunakan Metode Job Safety Analysis (JSA) (Studi Kasus Proyek Pembangunan Supermarket Wiego)
Identification of Hazard Potentials by using Job Safety Analysis (JSA) Method (Case Study of Wiego Supermarket Construction Project)
Abstract
Construction project development is an activity that is prone to work accidents
because it contains many elements of danger. When working, of course, there is a
higher risk of work accidents, because workers are in direct contact with heavy
objects, sharp objects, electric voltage and other dangerous things. If a work
accident occurs, the impact will vary from mild to serious. This study aims to
identify the potential hazards that can be caused by the stages of the work then
conduct a risk assessment and implement appropriate and effective controls using
the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method, this research uses a qualitative method aimed
at obtaining information by direct survey/observation and interviews with workers.
The results showed that there were physical hazards, ergonomic hazards, chemical
hazards, mechanical hazards, and ergonomic hazards. Based on the risk
assessment, in the extreme high risk category there are 6 job risks, in the high risk
category there are 8 job risks, in the medium risk category there are 25 job risks
and in the low risk category there are 124 job risks. The application of appropriate
and effective risk control to minimize these risks is to use complete personal
protective equipment, provide first aid facilities, and ensure workers understand
the function and use of the work used
